Okay, slight confession here. This may not technically be a pumpkin spice latte. At least not your typical one. But, rest assured, it is DELICIOUS, and will satisfy those PSL cravings!

If you’ve been reading our blog for while, you’ll know that we enjoy a good cup of joe. We have a few other articles to read that show our true admiration for coffee. In one article, we discuss our coffee set up. In short, we use a Ninja Coffee Station daily and LOVE it. In another, we discuss the power of Bulletproof coffee. Be sure to check that one out if you have any interest in pushing the benefits of your daily coffee to the max!

Anyways, back to this pumpkin spice latte addiction. This time of year, you can’t walk down the street or turn on the radio without someone proudly displaying their PSL. I don’t know about you, but I like being able to walk out of my bedroom and quickly prepare my coffee to start my day. I don’t typically go to a coffee shop unless we are traveling.

The way I make my pumpkin spice lattes is very simple and requires minimal effort. You only need one extra ingredient — pumpkin pie spice!

To make the latte, simply brew your coffee black. In a small microwavable cup, add approximately 4 ounces of your milk or cream. Add a teaspoon of sugar to the milk and approximately 1/4 teaspoon of the pie spice. Stir until combined well, and then microwave the milk for about 30 seconds. The spices will likely seperate during this time so you may need to give them a quick stir.

Next, if you have the Ninja Coffee Station, simply use the frother on the side of the machine to froth your milk. By the time you are done with this, your coffee will likely be just about done as well! Quickly pour the frothed milk into your coffee to avoid losing the froth and you have yourself a pumpkin spice latte!

If you enjoy your coffee sweet, you may want to add sugar to the coffee as well. We don’t add sugar to our coffee regularly so the sweetened milk is a treat in itself. Enjoy!
