We’ve all been there. You’re in between meals, got that pit in your stomach, but don’t want to ruin your next meal by having something too filling. You also want to keep it healthy.

These energy bites will fit the bill.

They’ll leave you satisfied, yet not full feeling. They’ll also give you a burst of energy that you’ll need to get through the rest of your day.

The best part is, they’re super easy to make and can keep for a while in the fridge. Make them ahead of time and bring two with you whenever you go out for the day and you won’t find yourself craving candy or sugary sweets.

I’d even venture to bet that you’ll end up looking forward to this snack and longing for it if you forget to bring them! They’re that good!

Thankfully, these also fit in perfectly to our meal plan! We allow ourselves two a day for a guilt-free pleasure.

For your nut butters, I highly suggest hazelnut and peanut butter. These two nut butters go well solo, or together! We like Teddie peanut butter and have found the best price to be on Amazon. Links below!

  4. Refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes, or until they are firm and no longer “wet.”

  5. Transfer to a container or bag with lid and store for up to 7 days in refrigerator!  Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

For those oilers out there, Cinnamon Bark is an awesome addition to these power balls in any variation.  We like to try and infuse essential oils into our cooking, and since these are never baked the flavor really sticks around!
